The Annual Easter Hunt for children 10 and under will start in front of the Cannon Falls Library at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 31. Please bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Cannon Falls Food Shelf.
Annual Community-Wide Garage sales! Fifty plus garage sales throughout the community. The 2018 Maps will be added in September 2018. A new map and listings will be posted in late April.
Make plans to attend the first 2018 Cannon Falls Chamber Fun Fest in Historic Downtown Cannon Falls on Thursday, May 10 from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Over 40 vendors will be offering a wide variety of goods and services. You will find products ranging from local foods, wine, candles, clothing, handcrafted jewelry to products such as Paparazzi Accessories, Lularoe, Usborne Books, Premier Designs, Window Concepts and much, much more. Throughout the evening you can enjoy live music and entertainment. Free admission. Fun for the whole family.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on 3rd Street by Merchants Bank. The parade route will be posted as soon as it is approved, but it will end at the city cemetery on Hwy 19. A program at the cemetery begins about 11 a.m. The Master of Ceremonies and Featured Speaker will be announced soon.
The Cannon Falls Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the Chamber Fun Fest on Thursday, June 14th in historic downtown Cannon Falls. Plain White Toast and the Cannon Falls Community Band will be playing all night. We also have over 50 vendors offering a wide variety of goods and services. Products range from handcrafted items to local honey and crafts, cheese and wines; candles and clothing to old cars and luxury soaps. You’ll find home-baked goodies, jams, jellies, frosted cut-out cookies, and other products such as Paparazzi and Premier Design Jewelry Accessories, Lularoe, Young Living Essential Oils and much, much more. Fun for the whole family… activities (face painting, rock painting, chalk art on the bridge, temporary tattoos), info booths and concessions…it’s all at the fun fest! Visitors to the fun fest will have the opportunity to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and get better acquainted with local community organizations.

This is the 28th annual Father’s Day Breakfast sponsored by the Cannon Falls Lions Club in connection with the Stanton Airfield Fly In. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice. Stanton United Methodist Worship service will be at 10:00 am with live music to follow.

The Grande Day Parade will be starting at 11 am on Wednesday, July 4th. The parade route starts at Belle St and 4th St and it will follow 4th St up to Mill St and go left. Once over the bridge, the parade will continue on 6th St to the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds. Local Wine – Local Food – Local Artisans This event features over a dozen wineries and cider makers, 70+ art vendors and lots of delicious foods. This event is free to attend. Tickets are available for wine tasting.
The Cannon Falls Fire Department’s annual street dance will be held rain or shine with entertainment from the band Hitchville. Gates open at 6 pm with food available for purchase. This is the department’s only large fundraiser of the year.
