The 105th Cannon Valley Fair is set for July 1 – 4, 2020. The fair’s 2020 schedule will be posted on their website www.cannonvalleyfair.org in late Spring or early May 2020. This event is 4 days of jam-packed fun with horse shows, bands, carnival, demo derby, tractor pull, and harness racing. Gold Star Amusements will be on the Midway during the Fair. Don’t forget the great assortment of food and treats too.
Unlimited Ride Wristbands good for one time slot 1 pm – 5 pm or 5 pm – 10 pm, Good for one day only – $22 per day per person per time slot. Advance Sale Price is $17 per day per person per time slot. Advance tickets are available at Althoff Hardware & Gifts starting in May, 2020.

Even though the Cannon Valley Fair and 4th of July Parade have been cancelled, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. On Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th, there will be at least 4 fair-food vendors at the fairgrounds from 11 am – 8 pm on Friday and 11 am – 11 pm on Saturday.
The American Legion Post #142 is also having a beer garden open these 2 days too. Social Distancing (6 ft apart) should be practiced at all times.
Don’t forget the Fireworks will be happening at dusk on Saturday, July 4th. Social distancing will be necessary at this public event. Bring your masks too.

The Cannon Valley Fair Board is revving up for the 2020 Grande Day Parade on Thursday, July 4th. If you are interested in being in the parade, please contact Heather Johnson, Parade Chair, at (507) 263-3548 or cannonvalleyfair@gmail.com
The parade line-up will be at the Cannon Falls High School. The parade begins at the East Side Park and follows Minnesota Street to 2nd Street where it will turn left and go to Mill Street. The parade route turns right on Mill Street and follows that over the Mill Street Bridge and on to the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds.

The actual Wine & Art Festival in Cannon Falls, MN has been changed to a Virtual Festival. Watch the website (www.cannonfallswineandartfestival.com ) for the festival to begin on July 1st and run through July 2020.
Local Wine – Local Food – Local Artisans all in Hannah’s Bend Park, Cannon Falls. This event features over a dozen wineries and cider makers, 70+ art vendors and lots of delicious foods. This event is free to attend. Tickets are available for wine tasting.

CANCELLED in 2020 – Come to the 34th Annual Cannon Country Cruise on Friday, July 31st. Line up starts at 5 pm at Artisan Plaza, 1223 – 4th St S, Cannon Falls. The Cruise will leave at 7 pm on a 25-mile cruise through Cannon Valley, and it will be escorted by the CF Police through town. The Cruise will return by 8 pm to Artisan Plaza for car viewing and 50’s and 60’s music until 10 pm. The cost is $5 per car with donations to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf also accepted. Food will be available for purchase at Artisan Plaza before the cruise.
