The June 11th Chamber Fun Fest has been cancelled.  We hope to see you all on July 9th.

Come to Cannon Falls on the 2nd Thursday in June, July, August and September to have some fun.  These monthly events are held from 5 pm – 8 pm on Mill St between 4th St and the Mill St Bridge in downtown Cannon Falls.

These street festivals feature vendor booths including women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, honey, crafts, home-baked goodies, classic cruisers, and more. There is also live music, games and activities for children and food vendors for your evening meal. Come and see what community organizations Cannon Falls has to offer.  Businesses looking for great candidates for employment are available too.

Even though the Cannon Valley Fair and 4^th of July Parade have been cancelled, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.  On Friday, July 3^rd and Saturday, July 4^th, there will be at least 4 fair-food vendors at the fairgrounds from 11 am – 8 pm on Friday and 11 am – 11 pm on Saturday.

The American Legion Post #142 is also having a beer garden open these 2 days too.  Social Distancing (6 ft apart) should be practiced at all times.

Don’t forget the Fireworks will be happening at dusk on Saturday, July 4^th.  Social distancing will be necessary at this public event.  Bring your masks too.

APPRECIATION CRUISE ON 4^TH OF JULY

The Kraft-Ostrom American Legion Post #142 and the Nelson-Scofield VFW Post #4452 will proudly display the Color Guard on Saturday, July 4^th, at 10:30 am.  This cruise-walk will start at the Cannon Valley Senior Center, 120 State St.  From there they will head down Minnesota St to North 2^nd.  This small cruise-walk will be led by the Cannon Falls Police Department.  The Cannon Falls Color Guard will follow along with fire trucks, ambulance, and signs recognizing our community’s healthcare workers.

From North 2^nd St, the cruise will proceed onto Mill Street W through town and out to the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds.  Please follow Social Distancing Protocol during this walk and then come out to the fairgrounds to enjoy the fair food vendors and the beverages that are being served by the American Legion Post #142.
