Family Fun for Everyone!! Children aged 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are invited to the Chamber’s Trick or Treat Trot in historic downtown Cannon Falls from 3 pm – 5 pm on the Friday before Halloween, October 30th. 40 Chamber Members will be handing out candy at their store/office fronts. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
The Trick or Treaters’ route will be going in “1” direction this year. Face Masks and Social Distancing will be required to have a safe event. For even more safety precautions, all of the vendors will be wearing masks and gloves to pass out their candy. Some vendors have come up with really creative ways to safely get the candy to the children. Come and check it out!
Bring the whole family and have a ghouling good time. There were over 700 children who participated in 2019. Additional Halloween events are planned around Cannon Falls for that afternoon and evening.
CANCELLED – the parade, lighting the tree and the fireworks are all cancelled. Wait to see what we have planned for the Holiday Season!
You and your family are invited to kick off the holidays with the sights, sounds and tastes of the season in beautiful, historic Cannon Falls. Santa will be in the parade!
The Deck the Falls Parade will begin at 5 pm and go along 4th Street to Mill Street, and then turn into the City Parking Lot. The Lighting of the Tree will follow the parade. The Holiday Tree is located between the Cannon River and John Burch Park along State Hwy 19.
Don’t leave yet! The fireworks will start right after the Lighting of the Tree. This was a beautiful experience last year, so come and enjoy again this year!
The 2020 Deck the Falls Poster will be included on our web page in early November 2020.
