Elementary School

Nestled into the gentle rolling hillside on the eastern edge of town, the new Cannon Falls Area Elementary School, is home to over 800 students in grades Kindergarten – 6. The building, with its vaulted ceilings and open interior architecture, is home to not only design awards, but award winning teachers.

Middle School & Senior High School

The Cannon Falls Middle School  and Senior High School offers over 100 academic courses to its 850 plus students and also provides technical/vocational training courses at Dakota County Technical College. Cannon Falls schools prepare students for solid future. Each classroom has internet connection and there are two 30-station multimedia computer labs.

Nurturing the whole child – mind, body and spirit – is the goal of St. Paul’s Lutheran Elementary School. Regular academic course are taught from a Christian perspective by teachers with elementary education degrees. In additional students from K-8 receive daily religious instruction and bible study, a confirmation preparation for older students.

Community Education

Cannon Falls Community Education offers a wide a variety of classes and activities including ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education), Pre-school programs and a before and after school child care program called Cannon Kids. For more information contact Community Ed at 507-263-6800 option 9.
